Nita Good Book

Lately, I've been reading quite a bit a romance, mostly historical and paranormal with a little contemporary mixed in. I also enjoy fantasy, urban fantasy, and history.

Hard Bitten - Chloe Neill I did not read any actual spoilers before reading this book, but from people's reactions I had guessed what was going to happen. I really hated being right. I look forward to November to see how she straightens this all out. I mean, he can't really be dead, right? That just cannot be the end of Ethan.
The involvement of her father in her change to a vampire was a big surprise, though. What a douche.

I am giving this book 4 stars not because of how it ended. I am a patient person, and do not mind cliffhanger type endings. But the V storyline wasn't the most original, and I couldn't understand why vampires were taking it in the first place. Besides anger, did they get any other feelings from the drug? Maybe I didn't understand it correctly, but why take drugs that just make you angry?

Anyway, I want Ethan back.
