Nita Good Book

Lately, I've been reading quite a bit a romance, mostly historical and paranormal with a little contemporary mixed in. I also enjoy fantasy, urban fantasy, and history.

Shades of Milk and Honey - Mary Robinette Kowal The story was ok. I liked the main character, Jane. But the author states one of her main influences is Austen and this novel didn't have quite the wit of Austen. I also found the over use of the word "shew" a little annoying. The magic was intriguing. I would have appreciated more information on glamour and why everyone has this ability. The book kept me entertained for an afternoon, but I do not highly recommend it.
